Made from FSC Birch plywood harvested from Nordic forests, the A Desk was designed for creative types who want to adjust the working position of their desktop. Inspired by the traditional architect’s drawing board and using the distinctive ByALEX ‘A’ frame to add stability, this modern desk is great for anyone working at home. The A Desk is cut from FSC birch plywood bonded with a coloured high pressure laminate; durable, decorative and easy to clean. The white desktop is extremely versatile and waterproof surface that can withstand abrasion, impacts, and stains. There is a small pen tray that has been crafted down through some birch layers to stop them rolling off when the desktop is tilted and a cut away at the back for cables to drop to the floor. British craftsman and font designer Edward Johnston once said “Always write on a slope… never write on a flat table: it causes the writer to stoop.” This desk will make you want to work.
